Photo Steps

Your first month

Whatthefirstfourweeksactuallylooklike.

  1. A small rocky bay below a wooded hillside
    01

    A call and a chair

    Twenty minutes on the phone, then a first session in the room or on video. You choose the chair; we make the tea.

  2. A turquoise bay ringed by pines and limestone
    02

    A shape for the work

    By the second session we have a loose plan: what we are circling, how often we meet, and what a good ending might be.

  3. A limestone cove with clear green water
    03

    A rhythm you can keep

    By week four the slot is yours, the notes are arriving, and the hour has started to feel like something you would miss.

About this block

Photo StepsPRO

Three numbered steps in columns, each topped by a photograph that drifts inside its frame, with a serif title and a description, under a serif heading that settles in word by word and a sliding-marker pill.

Feature287: Photo Steps

Three steps as photo cards: each one carries a picture that drifts inside its frame, a two-digit number, a serif title and a short paragraph, in a real ordered list.

Base UI flavor

bash
npx shadcn add "https://ui.beste.co/r-base/feature287?email=YOUR_EMAIL&license_key=YOUR_KEY"

This installs the block to components/beste/block/feature287.tsx plus the button22 sliding-marker pill and the text1 word stagger it uses.

Quick start

The installed file exports feature287Demo alongside the block: the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working steps section in one line.

tsx
import { Feature287, feature287Demo } from "@/components/beste/block/feature287";

export default function Page() {
  return <Feature287 {...feature287Demo} />;
}

Then replace the demo with your own props. Written out, a trimmed setup looks like this:

tsx
import { Feature287 } from "@/components/beste/block/feature287";

export default function Page() {
  return (
    <Feature287
      eyebrow="Your first month"
      heading="What the first four weeks actually look like."
      button={{ label: "Start week one", href: "/book" }}
      steps={[
        {
          title: "A call and a chair",
          description: "Twenty minutes on the phone, then a first session in the room or on video.",
          image: { src: "/rooms/bench.jpg", alt: "A sunlit room with a low timber bench" },
        },
      ]}
    />
  );
}

Behavior notes

  • The steps are an ol, so the sequence is real for a screen reader rather than implied by the printed numbers; those come from the index and are padded to two digits.
  • The number sits under the photograph rather than over it, so the picture stays uncluttered and the numeral reads as the start of the caption block.
  • Each photograph owns its own scroll listener and drifts -8% to 8% against a 1.18 scale, so the three do not move in lockstep.
  • Cards enter with a 0.15s stagger by index, which is slightly longer than the four-up grids in the set because three wide cards read as a sequence and should arrive in order.
  • Photos clear from blur(24px) on decode, with a complete check on mount so a cached image is not left blurred waiting for an event that already fired.
  • The grid is fixed at three columns from md and one below it: these are steps, and a two-up arrangement would break the reading order into an ambiguous shape.
  • Step titles are h3 under the section h2, and nothing in the cards is clickable; the pill beside the heading is the only link.
