Spotlight Panel

Spotlight

Walkingsessions,everyFriday.

Along the river, on foot, for an hour. Some conversations need a horizon rather than a wall, and a pace that keeps the body busy while the mind catches up.

One route, no surprises
The same riverside loop each week, flat and quiet.
Rain or not
We walk in light rain and swap to the room in heavy.
Book a Friday
A pine-backed cove crowded with swimmers
About this block

Spotlight PanelPRO

A single feature spotlight inside one soft muted panel: an eyebrow, a serif heading that settles in word by word, an intro, two ruled points and a sliding-marker pill on the left, and a square photograph drifting inside its frame on the right.

Feature286: Spotlight Panel

A single feature spotlit inside one soft panel: heading, intro, two ruled points and a pill on one side, a square photograph drifting inside its frame on the other.

Base UI flavor

bash
npx shadcn add "https://ui.beste.co/r-base/feature286?email=YOUR_EMAIL&license_key=YOUR_KEY"

This installs the block to components/beste/block/feature286.tsx plus the button22 sliding-marker pill and the text1 word stagger it uses.

Quick start

The installed file exports feature286Demo alongside the block: the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working spotlight panel in one line.

tsx
import { Feature286, feature286Demo } from "@/components/beste/block/feature286";

export default function Page() {
  return <Feature286 {...feature286Demo} />;
}

Then replace the demo with your own props. Written out, a trimmed setup looks like this:

tsx
import { Feature286 } from "@/components/beste/block/feature286";

export default function Page() {
  return (
    <Feature286
      eyebrow="Spotlight"
      heading="Walking sessions, every Friday."
      description="Along the river, on foot, for an hour."
      button={{ label: "Book a Friday", href: "/walking", tone: "dark" }}
      image={{ src: "/photos/path.jpg", alt: "A quiet path leading through a green forest" }}
      points={[
        { title: "One route, no surprises", description: "The same riverside loop each week, flat and quiet." },
        { title: "Rain or not", description: "We walk in light rain and swap to the room in heavy." },
      ]}
    />
  );
}

Behavior notes

  • The copy column is a flex with justify-between, so the points and the button sit at the foot of the panel and line up with the bottom of the square photograph however short the copy is.
  • The rule above the points is border-foreground/10 rather than border-border, because the panel is a muted surface and the standard border token would disappear into it.
  • The photograph sits on a bg-background/50 placeholder, so the empty frame reads as a lighter inset of the panel rather than as a grey hole while the file loads.
  • The heading takes an explicit delay={0.3} so it follows the eyebrow, and the paragraph and the foot block are given fixed delays after it rather than being derived from the word count.
  • The picture drifts -10% to 10% against a 1.2 scale and clears from blur(24px) on decode, with a complete check on mount for cached files.
  • The points grid is two across from sm, so a pair reads as a small ruled table rather than as a stacked list.
  • Every part is optional; without image the copy takes the full width of the panel.
