Figures Hero

A practice, not a platform

Threepeoplewhowillrememberyourname.

Altair is deliberately small: three practitioners, one address, and a waiting list we keep short on purpose. You will see the same person every week, and they will know where you left off.

About this block

Figures HeroPRO

A text hero with an eyebrow and a serif headline that settles in word by word on the left, the intro and two sliding-marker pills on the right, and a ruled row of three serif figures that count up beneath, with no image.

Hero184: Figures Hero

A hero that closes on its numbers: a wide headline beside the intro and two pills, then a ruled row of figures that count up from zero when they reach the viewport.

Base UI flavor

bash
npx shadcn add "https://ui.beste.co/r-base/hero184?email=YOUR_EMAIL&license_key=YOUR_KEY"

This installs the block to components/beste/block/hero184.tsx plus the button22 sliding-marker pill and the text1 word stagger it uses.

Quick start

The installed file exports hero184Demo alongside the block: the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working hero in one line.

tsx
import { Hero184, hero184Demo } from "@/components/beste/block/hero184";

export default function Page() {
  return <Hero184 {...hero184Demo} />;
}

Then replace the demo with your own props. Written out, a trimmed setup looks like this:

tsx
import { Hero184 } from "@/components/beste/block/hero184";

export default function Page() {
  return (
    <Hero184
      eyebrow="A practice, not a platform"
      heading="Three people who will remember your name."
      description="Deliberately small: three practitioners, one address, and a short waiting list."
      buttons={[
        { label: "Meet us on a call", href: "/call" },
        { label: "Why we stay small", href: "/about", tone: "outline" },
      ]}
      figures={[
        { value: 3, label: "Practitioners" },
        { value: 12, label: "Clients each, at most" },
        { value: 96, suffix: "%", label: "See the same person every session" },
      ]}
    />
  );
}

Behavior notes

  • Each figure counts independently when it personally reaches the viewport, and useInView is set to once, so scrolling back up does not replay it.
  • The figure and its label sit on one baseline rather than stacked, which is what lets three of them read as a sentence across the foot of the hero instead of as a stats panel.
  • The number is rounded every frame and set in tabular-nums, so the row does not change width while the count climbs.
  • suffix is a free string appended after the number, so %, + or x all work without the block parsing anything.
  • The headline runs with trigger="mount", since a hero sits above the fold, and the right column waits on 0.4 + heading.split(" ").length * 0.07.
  • Nothing here loads: no photograph, no grain, no scroll parallax, only the counters' own view observers.
  • The figures row is sm:grid-cols-3, so three is the intended count; a fourth wraps to a new row rather than compressing the first three.
