Intro and Linked List

Read before you write

Each of these started as an email. We answered it properly once, and now the answer lives on its own page instead of in a reply nobody else can read.

About this block

Intro and Linked ListPRO

An intro and a pill on the left against a compact ruled list on the right, where every row is a link carrying a question, a short meta value and an arrow that lifts as the row tints.

Radix flavor

bash
npx shadcn add "https://ui.beste.co/r/feature310?email=YOUR_EMAIL&license_key=YOUR_KEY"

Base UI flavor

bash
npx shadcn add "https://ui.beste.co/r-base/feature310?email=YOUR_EMAIL&license_key=YOUR_KEY"

This installs the block to components/beste/block/feature310.tsx plus the button22 sliding-marker pill and the text1 word stagger it uses.

Quick start

The installed file exports feature310Demo alongside the block: the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working intro and Linked List in one line.

tsx
import { Feature310, feature310Demo } from "@/components/beste/block/feature310";

export default function Page() {
  return <Feature310 {...feature310Demo} />;
}

Then replace the demo with your own props. Written out, a trimmed setup looks like this:

tsx
import { Feature310 } from "@/components/beste/block/feature310";

export default function Page() {
  return (
    <Feature310
      eyebrow="Read before you write"
      heading="The questions people send us, answered at length."
      description="Each of these started as an email."
      button={ label: "Ask a new one", href: "/contact", tone: "outline" }
      listLabel="Twelve answers"
      items={[
        { label: "What happens in a first session?", meta: "4 min", href: "/answers/first-session" },
      ]}
    />
  );
}

ts
type Item = {
  label: string;

Behavior notes

  • Rows are set at reading size rather than display size, so a list of a dozen stays compact next to the intro.
  • Each row is one Link and tints on hover; the meta value and the arrow sit in the same trailing group so they never separate.
  • meta is optional per row, and the arrow stays put whether or not a row carries one.
  • The list keeps its own hairline top and bottom through the row borders, so it reads as a block against the intro.
  • Entry delay is 0.04 per row, small enough that a long list still arrives as one movement.
  • Below lg the two columns stack, intro first, which keeps the reading order intact.
