Platform v6 Launches With Edge-First Architecture

A ground-up rebuild moves every workload to the edge — streaming SSR delivers HTML from the nearest node as it generates, cutting Time to First Byte by 60% across all routes.

The release marks the most significant infrastructure change in the platform's history. Every request now resolves at one of 40+ edge locations worldwide, eliminating the round-trip to origin servers that previously added 200–400ms of latency for users outside North America. The new streaming pipeline begins sending HTML to the browser before the full page has finished rendering, meaning users on slow connections see meaningful content in under 200ms. A new plugin marketplace launches alongside the platform, allowing developers to extend any surface with hot-reloadable modules. Zero-config TypeScript support removes the need for custom build configurations, and an automated migration CLI handles the upgrade from v5 projects with a single command.
